Solomon Calhoun Center

Solomon Calhoun was a long-time educator, mentor and coach in St. Johns County, in April 2009, a new community center was built and named in his memory to help improve the quality of life for residents of West Augustine. In April, 2010, fellow artist Corrie Borgland and I were invited to work with the children in this community. The purpose was to teach them the value of making art and helping them beautify their new community center. The children were the stars of this amazing project.
